We’d like to invite everyone to visit the Newcastle upon Tyne Unitarians during the Heritage Open Days in Tyne and Wear, over 9-10th September 2017. This is a great chance to see the last Art Deco building built in Newcastle (1939). Our Grade 2 Listed building is not normally open to the public during the week, and this may be your best chance to see it as the congregation will soon be moving to a new building.
Church members will be on hand to welcome visitors and answer questions, and there will be free coffee and cake. Conveniently located in the centre of Newcastle near Northumbria University and the City Hall, it takes around 20 minutes to walk around the building, although you are welcome to stay as long as you like. Why not visit us and then walk to the city’s other famous Art Deco building, the Tyneside Cinema (five minutes away)?
The building will be open from 10am-4pm on Saturday 9th September, and 12-3pm on Sunday 10th. We look forward to welcoming you!
